Announced on 15 June 2018 at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards recognise leaders within Australia's legal industry, who have demonstrated exceptional performance in their area of practice, as well as outstanding contributions to their organisations, client networks and the broader community.

Finalists for the Construction and Infrastructure category were selected for their aptitude in advising on the complex matters presented by the construction and infrastructure boom across Australia.

Selection included construction and infrastructure partners who have advised on local, state and national matters, ensuring the best business outcomes for their clients.

Over the past 12 months Mr Nankervis and his team has advised on, amongst others, Western Roads Upgrade, Melbourne Metro, the West Gate Tunnel, Sydney Metro, WestConnex, New Grafton Correctional Centre and Bus Services procurement in Victoria and NSW.

"This is great recognition for the team as a whole at MinterEllison, who've worked tirelessly to deliver on so many major projects over the last 12 months," said Mr Nankervis. Stewart has been ranked by Chambers Asia Pacific as one of only three Band 1 lawyers in Australia for Infrastructure in 2018.
