I have worked with large financial services organisations on transformational projects that resulted from acquisitions, amalgamations and business restructures. As an independent expert, I have worked extensively with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). In a previous role, I led the ASIC Capability Review, which assessed how ASIC fulfils its mandate for the Federal Treasury. My professional career has afforded me the opportunity to work in the United States, Asia and all over Australia. I have also previously led a large professional services firm’s Risk Consulting practice for Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
I sit on the foundation board at St Joseph's College and chair the foundation’s Finance and Investment Committee. I am also a member of the Board of the Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef.

I have advised on a portfolio of client work for some of Australia's largest financial services organisations. I have:
- Led the review of the business operations for financial services organisations, assessing the adequacy of their operations and benchmarking these against regulatory standards.
- Advised numerous Boards and Committees on good governance, helping them respond to reputational and regulatory risks facing the business and developing sustainable solutions. I have also worked with large financial services organisations on transformational projects resulting from acquisitions, amalgamations and business restructures.
- As an Independent Expert, I have worked extensively with ASIC and have a detailed understanding of ASIC, its role in the Australian economy and the key mechanisms that are in place to fulfil this mandate. I was the lead partner on the 2015 Capability Review of ASIC whereby I was appointed by the Federal Treasury to perform a review of ASIC and the way it fulfils its mandate. I have worked with an array of key regulators including APRA, the ACMA and the ACCC.
- Designed and implemented effective operational, risk and compliance frameworks, including reviewing multiple frameworks (resulting from acquisitions or business restructures) and streamlining these to achieve consistent, efficient and sustainable business practices.
- Designed and implemented remediation programs in response to mis-selling and/or inappropriate sales practices.
- Operated managed services for clients relating to the day to day management and oversight of key operational and regulatory risks.
