Gillian Brown

Gillian Brown heads our Queensland Finance team. She is a leading corporate and project finance lawyer with extensive experience in energy and resources, infrastructure and construction project financing.

Gillian advises infrastructure funds, listed companies, banks, universities and government agencies on wide-ranging project financings spanning wind farms, power stations, ports, hospitals, mines and refineries, major property and tourism developments.

She has particular expertise in public sector borrowing.

This expertise has received peer and industry recognition including as 2014 Brisbane Banking and Finance Law "Lawyer of the Year", Best Lawyers in Australia, as well as individual Best Lawyer rankings for structured finance and project finance and 2016 Brisbane Structured Finance Law "Lawyer of the Year", Best Lawyers in Australia.

She is a director of Australian Rail Track Corporation.
