Richard Dammery |Partner

Richard is a senior corporate adviser with over 15 years experience working with, and advising, the Boards and executive teams of major corporations and Government agencies across a wide range of transactional issues including:

  • takeovers and negotiated acquisitions
  • strategic sales processes
  • complex commercial negotiations
  • regulatory inquiries and investigations
  • corporate governance.

In addition to his experience in private legal practice, Richard has spent many years working at the executive level in major Australasian public companies, including Telstra Corporation, Telecom Corporation of New Zealand, and Coles Group Ltd where he was General Counsel and Company Secretary.

Richard has extensive, first-hand experience in the communications, technology, infrastructure and retail sectors, and advises across a range of other industries including energy and resources and financial services.

Richard is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Member of the Competition and Consumer Committee of the Law Council of Australia. He is a Director of Safetrac Pty Ltd, Chair of Cambridge Australia Scholarships Limited and a Williamson Fellow of Leadership Victoria.
