Mary is a leading insurance and corporate risk litigator, specialising in accident compensation law.

With over 16 years’ experience in both private and public practice, Mary is recognised for her experience in self-insurance, assisting national corporations in maintaining costs and efficiencies. She regularly acts for a wide range of clients including WorkSafe Victoria, Wesfarmers, Broadspectrum, Woolworths, insurers, and employers.

Having started her career as a defendant lawyer, Mary gained the respect of WorkSafe Victoria after undertaking a secondment at WorkSafe to assist in the management of the legal panel in relation to statutory benefits matters.

Mary has further managed Victoria's public healthcare program for the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA), working closely with legal service providers, corporate counsel from major metropolitan hospitals and health and clinical risk professionals, before returning to private practice.
